Seattle is a mecca for arts, entertainment and tourism. It welcomes traveling Broadway shows and nationally acclaimed exhibits, like most major cities. But it also has distinct attractions that make it a beloved destination for both locals and tourists alike. Spend a day at Pike Place Market shopping local artisan gifts and food. Stroll down the pier, grab a cup of chowder, and ride the tallest Ferris wheel on the West Coast. Finish up at the aquarium, Wings over Washington, or tour the harbor on Argosy Cruise.

At the Pacific Science Center, you’ll find Seattle’s famous Space Needle (now with a glass floor!), The Museum of Pop Culture, and Chihuly Garden and Glass. Pro tip: Alki has the best panoramic view of the city skyline, so charge your camera. Within a 30-minute-or-less drive to forests mountain passes, rivers and lakes, you can do just about anything your adventuring heart desires.

We’ve barely scratched the surface of things to do in Seattle. It’s truly a special place that inspires exploration and wanderlust for all who visit, and even those who stay.
