Trails and more trails make Redmond an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise. Whether you walk, run, bike, hike, skate, or ride horses, there’s a place for your type of recreation in Redmond. A popular paved path where you can literally do it all is the Sammamish River Trail, extending 10 miles along the scenic Sammamish River. Bridle Trails State Park is another expansive piece of wilderness, with a 28-mile trail system catering to equestrians, but welcoming visitors on two feet as well.

Marymoor Park is one of King County’s most-well known parks for its 640 acres of recreational bliss. Whether you’re there to watch a soccer game, climb the rock wall, attend a festival, see a concert or movie in the park, ride the velodrome, or just walk the expansive trails, you could spend an entire weekend exploring the park.

Alas, there is more to Redmond than its parks. Residents flock to Redmond Town Center, the city’s large outdoor mall with major department stores, restaurants, entertainment, lodging, a summer market, and year-round special events.

Want a little more thrill? Maybe an escape room will do the trick. Redmond has three options to choose from: Conundroom Quest, Quest Factor, and Flee Escape Rooms. Great for team building or a fun night out with friends. Reward your escape at Tipsy CowBurger Bar and finish off the day with dessert at nearby Molly Moon’s homemade ice cream.
